Monty Python's Flying Circus

Are you unaware of this show, if so.....SHAME, FOR SHAME......you dolt. You are missing out on some of the best comedy in the world. M.P.F.S. still makes me laugh to this day. The video may be dated, but the jokes are not. That's why I'm reviewing this, the jokes are well written. Airing on the BBC between 1969-1974 the proud cast of Monty Python's Flying Circus was a group of 5 british born and one american born sketch comedy artists with a brand of comedy so unique that a word was born to describe it: "Pythonesque". This word went on to describe all related works that borrowed from the M.P.F.C. stile. That's not to say that it didn't borrow either, they to borrowed from a show called Q5. The cast went on to make four movies, one of witch is Monty Python and the Holy Grail, witch you may have heard of. ( T_T ) Appearances by the troupe have been scarce since the death of Graham Chapman in 1989, but the surviving members (Eric Idle, Tarry Gilliam, Terry Jones, John Cleese, Michael Palin) are slated to reunite to make another film, Absolutely Anything. It might be hard to find, but M.P.F.C. is worth a look.
