9

nëntë تسعة 九 نو neun εννέα नौ תשע 아홉 નવ девять naoi ஒன்பது IX Nine 9

Nine is a masterpiece of good writing not only for it's storytelling but the fact that the main protagonist has not a single line in the whole movie and yet you still make that connection to whom he is as a "person". It has many of usual tropes but they are executed in new and interesting ways. I love the fact that, at the start of this story you as the audience are thrust into it with no knowledge of the whys and hows this came to be. It keeps you hooked and wanting more. After those questions are answered more show up, and according to my remembrance of the movie there are no wasted scenes, every thing is there that needs to be there. Nothing is wasted, no scene is a crap scene that gets wasted on nothing. Oh and the ending, while still technically a happy end, is bittersweet and may be a tearjerker or a narm, YMMV. Sorry this is so short but I have nothing else to say.
