This is it people, This is the manga that started it all. All the magical girls can trace there history back to this one manga. The talking animal, the transformations, the female sailor uniform, and the powers. All of it comes back to this. The "V" in Codename Sailor V is for Venus so her full name is Sailor Venus. Wait....I remember there being this group in another manga that called themselves Sailors, it went on to have a vary faithful anime adaptation, and they were called The Sailor Scouts. There was a Sailor Mars, a Sailor Mercury, a Sailor Neptune, a Sailor Jupiter, and I think there was even a Sailor Moon. Thats right, Pretty Solder Sailor Moon was a sequel to Codename: Sailor V because Sailor V is, as i'm sure you've guessed, Sailor Venus.
